Kids & Students »5th & 6th Grade

Route 56 is designed for the unique concerns and needs of 5th and 6th grade students. It offers them the opportunity to explore their world and the social changes that lie ahead of them.
This transitional ministry from elementary to student ministry offers an environment where students can put their faith into action, maintain a leadership role among their peers, develop close relationships with other Christians, and grow in their knowledge and personal relationship with Christ.
While you can attend either hour, Route 56 is designed to be a two hour program. At 9:00am each Sunday is large group worship. This service introduces “adult church” elements into the ministry, yet keeps it all at the level of a 5th or 6th grade student. The second hour starts with a brief large group time and ends with all students in small groups where they really make the lesson a practical part of their life.
Students are currently on a “Route 56 Road Trip”, using famous places from around the world to teach principles we can learn about God. From Jacksonville to Italy…you never know where next weeks lesson is going to take you!
This is an exciting place to serve! We are always looking for small group assistants, First Impression team members, and friends to sit along with the students during large group times.
