Sharing Tree Preschool was established in 1987. Our purpose is to offer excellent care and teaching to preschool age children. The mission at Sharing Tree is to provide an atmosphere of loving acceptance and an environment that makes learning exciting through a program that encourages hands-on participation. A distinct and separate entity from Christ's Church, Sharing Tree Preschool provides a program that allows children to develop at their highest level in every area. A curriculum is offered that encourages each child to develop socially, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and academically.
Sharing Tree offers a 2 & 3-day class for 2 year olds, 2, 3, or 5-day class for 3 year olds and a 5-day class for 4 year olds. We are a provider for the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program offered by the state of Florida. Our hours are 9:00am - 12:00pm for 2 and 3 year olds and 9:00am - 1:00pm for our 4 year olds. Parents have the option of leaving their children for extended day Monday-Thursday until 2:00pm.
Sharing Tree Preschool is accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is recognized as a Gold Seal school in the state of Florida.
At Sharing Tree we understand the importance of cherishing and challenging the individuality of each child.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:13,14
Our staff understands the importance of modeling a holy life, maintaining a teachable spirit, and staying true to the bible in all things.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23, 24
Our staff understands that God formed and knows every part of the children she teaches.
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” Jeremiah 1:5
Our staff understands that teaching God’s Word is the most important thing but that each child learns differently.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:6-9
Our staff seeks ways to help each child learn according to how God created him.
“Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.” Proverbs 1:5
Our staff seeks to identify the giftedness God has placed in each child and seeks ways to teach in a way that brings out each unique gift.
“But each man has his own gift from God” one has this gift, another has that.”
I Corinthians 7:7
Our staff recognizes that all truth is God’s truth and strives to learn from the wisdom of others.
“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:14, 15
Our staff uses every aspect of the environment to reflect Christ.
“Give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” I Corinthians 15:58
Our staff finds ways to encourage, energize, and empower each child to be all he can be for Jesus Christ.
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29
Our staff finds ways to build up responsible workers for the kingdom.
“Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.” Proverbs 20:11
Our staff realizes the need to build meaningful traditions of faith.
“I will utter hidden things, things from old-what we have heard and know, what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.” Psalms 78:2-4
Our staff trusts in and relies on the power of prayer.
“Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
