At Christ’s Church, we partner with a variety of missions including children’s homes, orphanages, Bible colleges, schools, medical clinics, youth ministries, university campus ministries, churches, conferences, benevolence agencies, Christian publications, disaster relief and more. People of every race, language, age, and culture need Jesus Christ – and you can help!

You don’t have to be an adventurer or a world-traveler to get involved in spreading the hope of Christ all over the world. Each year Christ’s Church celebrates a Missions Emphasis weekend that highlights the ministries and missionaries with whom we have chosen to partner. On the first two weekends in March, church members are challenged to join the global effort and commit to prayer and offer financial support for the missions which Christ’s Church has selected. Members are asked to prayerfully consider a one-year financial commitment, above and beyond their regular tithe, and pledge that support on Missions weekend.

Just as important, we hope you’ll take the opportunity to experience missions first hand. Whether you travel the globe or serve your local community, you can help make a positive difference in people’s lives… forever!

The challenge is simple: Pray. Give. Go!

Local / Community Service Opportunities:

Christ’s Church believes that a connected, growing Christian is a serving Christian. Jesus, in speaking to His disciples said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all (Mark 9:35)." If you would like to be involved in servant-hearted opportunities apart from our normal weekend services, either as an individual or a small group, here are some local organizations that we partner with and the individual who organizes their volunteer work. Gift Bags for Missions

Children in some places around the world have very little to nothing to play with or to help take care of themselves. You can help by creating a gift bag that will be donated to a child during one of Christ’s Church’s Missions Trips this year.

Here's what you do…

1. Fill a 1-gallon ZipLoc bag with the items listed below. To be fair to all children--do not put any more or less than the items listed!

2. Drop your gift bag(s) in the drop-off bin in the church’s Foyer or Atrium at Christ's Church Mandarin Campus.

3. Or...you may donate any of the following items in bulk. We’ll make the bags later.

Items to include in your gift bag:

1 toothbrush
1 tube of tooth paste
1 bar of soap
1 comb or brush
1 small box of crayons
1 small bottle of shampoo
1 pair of nail clippers
A few Q-tips
2 pens or pencils
1 small coloring book
3 small ‘Happy-Meal’ size toys
(optional) photo and/or personal note from you and your family

Please make sure all bags are sealed.
