The band did an incrediable job. It was nice to share that with my young daughters and for them to understand that Christmas is so much more than Santa! As I was leaving church Sunday night, I just looked at them and said that this was the kind of stuff that made my heart happy. Thank you for allowing us to have that moment. The program is a wonderful example of the use of his and others gifts to shine the light on Jesus where it belongs (not on self). We missed it due to travel, but remember the music from last year's Fleming Island concert and our family is thankful that other families got this experience this year. How awesome would this musical experience (as part of weekly worship services) be? Not being ashamed of the Gospel is a huge step in the right direction to making more and better disciples for Jesus Christ! I agree wholeheartedly. I also wanted to express my gratitude to the preaching team for their recent weeks of sermons on the outrageous things that Jesus said and did. It has been sweet, melodious, and unabashed awesome-ness to hear you guys diving into the Gospel of John...arguably some of the most polarizing passages of Scriptures in the entire text. Two enthusiastic thumbs up from me! Thanks for that...and on a personal note, I love the taking apart of the original Greek that has snuck in on occasion lately; tremendous. Keep it up guys! More people need to know what exactly Jesus said and didn't say. Mike Amen to that!
