We seek to meet the spiritual, physical and social needs of our retired and senior adults. We keep faith with the mission statement of Christ's Church; that purpose is evangelism, discipleship, proclamation and pursuit of excellence in all things.

The core values of the Senior Adult Ministry can be summed up as follows:

  • FELLOWSHIP, sharing of abilities with others for the cause of Christ.
  • ENCOURAGEMENT, reinforcing one another in need.
  • COMPASSION, support of the needy. We are care givers, not just care receivers.
  • OUTREACH, carrying out the Great Commission through our web of influence.

All are welcome to attend and become a part of our ministry but we specifically target those who are 55 years of age and older.

Activities:

Sunday Morning Classes at the Mandarin campus:

  • Friendship Class | 10:30am | Room 107
  • Kingdom Builders Class | 9:00am | Room 151

Wednesday morning Bible study - Hour of Power 10:30am in the Chapel (Mandarin)

  • Trips are taken throughout the year for fellowship and discipleship purposes
  • Visitation to shut-ins (nursing home and home)
  • Monthly birthday party at South Lakes - Wyndham Lakes Nursing Home
  • Area senior adult Christian church rally quarterly
  • Mission projects as needed

Our primary goal in all things is spiritual maturity.

We seek to teach His Word and live His life. "Let them find us Faithful."
